The University of the Philippines-Diliman Aquatics Center (or simply the UP Aquatics Center) is a multi-storey, indoor-outdoor venue designated to accommodate the different water based recreational and athletic activities of the university. It is intended to replace the remotely located UP Swimming Pool  that has fallen into decay. It is one of the new developments included in the master plan for the new UP Sports Complex located in the vicinity of the College of Human Kinetics. With the aim of upgrading all of the university’s athletic facilities to modern standards, the UP Aquatics Center is set to be the next facility up for certification by the athletic institution in its arena: the International Swimming Federation or FINA. With this certification, the building is also poised to be a new venue for sporting events of collegiate athletic associations and a training center for athletes at the national level.
